Saving...
34 them. We all walked over home and after talking about an hour then went to bed. Wednesday March 22nd 1876. When Rob went to school this morning Charlie and I went over to. I put in a busy forenoon getting groceries and inviting a few friends to spend the evening. I helped with the dinner when I came home. Aunt Sarah was here. Oh how I did work in the afternoon baking and cleaning up the house. When supper was over and the work done up We just had time to dress before our company came. I certainly think I never passed a pleasanter evening. There was McCalls young folks, Mr Chase, Will Moon, Mollie, Jim, Winnie and Ella McCallister We played cards, danced to piano music and I set the table for supper. I do wonder if the enjoyed it as I did. Charlie seemed to enjoy being with his friends again. It was twelve oclock when they went home. Weather rather pleasant. I had a letter from Will Reed.
