59. Saturday May 27th 1876. This morning as soon as we got the work done comfortably Hatt and I started to the valley But met Aunt Sarah and she said the folks had come up to Uncle Jims. Old Jehu acted so we were afraid to drive him so we turned around and came back. Hatt spent the day over to Winnie's. I went to town in the buggy in the afternoon And after supper Rob and I had a splendid horse-back ride Oh how I did enjoy it. It was a year ago tonight since I got home. Sunday May 28th 1876. I did not feel at all well today but I helped do up the work and goet the dinner I was over to Folsoms a little while And in the afternoon went to Robinsons. Went to bed early. Monday May 29th 1876. We girls washed this forenoon and in the afternoon we did a little sewing. We worked in the yard after supper. weather warm.
