63 Tuesday June 6th 1876. It was sultry and cloudy this morning. Hatt and I began to clean up the house. We had it pretty much all done at noon After dinner I washed out a few pieces and ironed them and did some little sewing. We had the work all done by eight oclock. The company began to arrive before nine. They all appeared to enjoy themselves And all started at once about twelve oclock. Wednesday June 7th 1876 We girls did not go to bed at all last night after the company started home we washed the dishes and cleaned the house all up. Then while Hatt finished paking her trunk I wrote a letter to Al. Rob got up at four oclock to take Hatt to the depot I slept about two hours and then got up and worked all day I washed and did some ironing and got all the things sent home we had borrowed. I was very tired and sleepy so I when to bed early.
