Saving...
70 Thursday June 22nd 1876. It was terribly close and warm this morning I worked most of the forenoon, baking cake. And all hands were busy getting things ready to wear this afternoon. Lou and I arranged three boquets before dinner. All hands attended the exercises in the afternoon, they were most excellent and I cannot help but think that Rob spoke best of all. We girls carried home Robs boquets, and Hatt arranged them while I got the supper to going Winnie and Mr Neill took supper here. After supper We all dressed to go to the reunion. Two young gents came from the valley and there was an even ten of us started from our house to the reunion. We all had a pleasant time but were a tired set when we got home. The boys stayed here all night.
