Just before night we all went up to see how they come on with Aunt Emma's new house. We had a pleasant call and spent a pleasant evening after we got back. Saturday July 22nd 1876 We went up to Aunt Ellens and stayed till after dinner and then up to Grand-mothers and stayed till four oclock. Aunt Lib was there and we went down home with her. Uncle George got the horse for us and we went on down to Aunt Lindas where we spent a pleasant evening and staid all night. Sunday July 23rd 1876. Today I am twenty five years old. About ten oclock Lou and I went up to Aunt Sarahs where we stayed till the middle of the afternoon. We came home the [pararie] road. Though it was a pleasant afternoon we found it tedious and tiresome. For my part I was glad to get home I helped get supper and went to bed. I really felt too tired to take a pen in my hand
