Saving...
97. Tuesday August 29th 1876. Hatt and I went to town early this morning and got paper for the two rooms up stairs. We worked all the afternoon sewing together the carpet for the back room up stairs. It was late when the boys got home from the field and we helped do the milking. It has been very warm. Wednesday August 30th 1876. It rained nearly all day. Hatt and I worked most of the forenoon finishing the carpet for the front room up stairs. In the afternoon we papered the west room up there. It was night when we got through. I was very tired and went to bed early. Thursday August 31st 1876. It was raining this morning and Hatt and I papered the east room. It cleared of before night and Rob, Hatt, Ott, and I went down to Ella's party. We had a splendid time It was a tiresome ride home as it was dark and muddy.
