Saving...
99. Sunday September 3rd 1876. Mother and Lee went to the valley today and I put in the day working around the house I felt awful tired all day. Rob and I took a ride just before night which I enjoyed very much. Hatt had supper ready when we got home. I had a letter from Al. Monday September 4th 1876. I worked all day at my sewing I nearly made three shirts Mother and Hatt were down town most of the day. Mr Given is quite sick and they were there part of the time. It was a good day for making hay and the boys were in the field all day. Tuesday September 5th 1876. It rained all day. We put the carpets down up stairs and and in the afternoon the boys moved the old desk from the porch into Mothers room. After supper I cut me a wrapper and Hatt basted it up. I did some other work for myself and it was late before we went to bed. How I hope it will be clear tomorrow.
