117 Wednesday October 25th 1876. Rob Hatt and I got up at four oclock when the folks started and then went back to bed again. I helped do the work all day and let Hatt sew on her wrapper. Thursday October 26th 1876. I washed the wood work and the wall in the kitchen this forenoon and in the afternoon it was so very pleasant I went to town to make calls. I spent a pleasant afternoon and got home in time to help get the supper. Hatt went over to stay all night with Winnie. Friday October 27th 1876. I ironed this forenoon and before I had finished Emma Middleton and Kitty Kaufman came. Blanche Moon took dinner here. It was a very pleasant day and in the afternoon We picked over three barrels of sweet apples there was in the yard. Hatt went to society at night and Father and Mother went to town to an oyster supper We girls sat up late.
