Saving...
147 Friday January 26th 1877 I did house-work all the forenoon and got part of the ironing done. As soon as we could get the dinner dishes washed Mother and I sat down to visit with Mrs Frost and her daugher who were spending the day here. I helped get the supper but Mother washed the dishes as I wanted to get ready for society. I went over with Rob and Pete came home with me. He stayed over all night. A splendid day and evening. Saturday January 27th 1877 It was very late when we got breakfast this morning. I just barely got the house cleaned up by dinner time. Mother went over to see Mrs Dennison in the afternoon and I did up the work and finished the ironing. I was very tired at night so I read and wrote a little. Weather beautiful. I had a long letter from Hattie this morning. Pete went home before dinner.
