Saving...
148 Sunday January 28th 1877. It was terribly late when we got up and by the hardest kind of work I got ready to change my dress by twelve oclock. Before I was through Aunt Linda and Ella came and Mr Cattrell had company for dinner. After dinner we sang awhile, and before the folks got started home Pete came. I did not go to church at night but helped get supper over and wrote to Hattie. It was a lovely night. Monday January 29th 1877. I got up early this morning and put in all the forenoon cleaning up the house Win was over a few moments. I did a large washing in the afternoon. I read and wrote in the evening. Weather warmer. A postal from Lizzie Tuesday January 30th 1877 It was a gloomy day and just at night set in to rain. I was busy about the house all this forenoon and baked cake all the afternoon. I sewed carpet-rags awhile in the evening.
