Saving...
152. Thursday February 8th 1877. I helped do up the work and ironed till noon. After dinner I baked cake and Hatt finished the ironing. Mother went to town. Just as we were through supper Winnie came over. I helped do up the work while Hatt changed her dress. McCalls young folks and Mollie and Jim came And we had a lively time it was two oclock before they went home. Friday February 9th 1877. I felt fearful this morning but worked away. Mother went to town to spend the day. I got the dinner. In the afternoon I sewed on my skirt. I had begun the supper when Mother got home I helped get it then got ready for society. I went with Mr Baily he was going to play. Being early we went around for Winnie. She went with us And after society we saw Pete and he went down for a card play. Him and Win beat Baily and I. We came home about ten oclock and I was tired enough to go to bed.
