Saving...
161 Sunday March 4th 1877 As usual it was late before we got up and it was twelve oclock when the work was done up and I had my dress changed. Hatt went over to Winnies for dinner And Mother and I got up our dinner alone. Hatt came home about four oclock and Win came with her. Pete came over before supper and him and I went to church in the evening. When we got home found Mr Whetstone here. Weather wintry. Monday March 5th 1877. We did not wash this forenoon and it took till nearly noon to clean up the house. Mother went to town in the afternoon and did not get home till after supper. I finished up one pair of pillow cases and began making another pair. Weather cold. Hatt went to town in the evening to an entertainment and I wrote to Cousin Jennie. And had a chat with Mr Baily about Delavan people.
