Saving...
180 town. It was a splendid day. Jim Weldy and wife were here for dinner. I drew of another pillow case and started to work it this afternoon. In the evening we young folks went down to Lathrops. We had a very pleasant time. Sunday April 22nd 1877. I did not feel at all well my throat is troubling me again. I was up part of the day and wrote a letter to Jennie. Pete came over in the evening but we did not go to church. The night was beautiful but I was not able to go. Monday April 23rd 1877. I felt some better today and did considerable work on my pillow case. We got a dispatch from Charlie at noon saying he would be at home this afternoon. Lee went over to the depot to meet him. He got here about three oclock. We spent the afternoon and evening visiting with him. Pete went to Chicago today. Weather quite pleasant.
