191 a short horse-back ride late in the afternoon When we got back I got the supper. Just as we were through eating Hatt came. While They were eating supper Pete and I took their horse and buggy and went to meet Mother and Rob, but we missed them and found them at home when we got back. Monday May 28th 1877. Father took me to the valley this forenoon He stayed till after dinner at Stevens. I sewed till supper time on Libs dress And then I went up to Grand-mothers a little while. I had the head-ache all the afternoon. Tuesday May 29th 1877. I did a large days sewing but did not get Libs dress quite done. Wednesday May 30th 1877. I finished sewing for Aunt Ellen at noon. Uncle Jim brought me home after dinner. After supper I went to town and got stuff to fix Hat a dress. Uncle Jim gave me two pigs today.
