200. town to attend the Class day exercises of the Law Class. They took supper at Winnies and went to The Society Exercises at night. I staid at home and done some work that had to be done. Weather intensely warm with prospect of a terrible storm. Tuesday June 18th 1877. When we got up this morning The rain was coming down in torrents. A pleasant time for The Law Class to graduate. We thought we could not attend at all. Rob got ready and waded over. After the exercises had begun We got ready and Father took us over in the waggon. The exercises were very good. Rob spoke well. And a good Audience considering the weather. We had company in the afternoon Mr Fegan was here. And Mr Van Camp took supper with us. Mr Cattrell and his sister took supper away from home. In the evening Rob and I with Mr Cattrell and his sister attend a ball at the St. James, had a very pleasant time. A busy and eventful day.
