Saving...
211. Thursday July 12th 1877. We sewed all day and finished Auntys dress before supper time and had a real pleasant drive home. They had made splendid progress on the house while we were gone. We went to bed early. had a letter from Bailey Friday July 13th 1877. Hatt and I put in the whole forenoon in the barn cutting carpet rags. I spent the afternoon down to Robinsons And Mother was in town. I helped do the work when I came home and went to bed early. Saturday July 14th 1877. I helped about the work and sewed carpet rags part of the time. Rob went to Burlington tonight and I walked over to the depot with him. I was awful tired when I got home, and after helping with the evening work I went to bed. I am feeling better in my mind than I did the first of the week. And the new house is going to give me plenty of work.
