Saving...
212. Sunday July 15th 1877. It was a very warm day. Mother and Father took dinner in town. Lee as usual went to the valley and Rob being away made our family quite small. It was a very warm day but I wrote a letter to Mr Bailey, Al, and Brother Charlie. Winnie was over to supper and we girls left the supper dishes to go to the bridge with her, And it was so late before we got the work done up that we went to bed. Monday July 16th 1877 It was a splendid morning and the men came to work again in the house. Hatt was sewing all the forenoon and in the afternoon went over to Wins to stay all night. I helped Mother put up currants and sewed carpet rags. Tuesday July 17th 1877. I worked in the carpet rags all my spare time today. Rob got home from Burlington this afternoon And Win and Hatt came over soon after dinner. Weather very pleasant. Mr & Mrs Templin here tonight.
