Saving...
220. Wednesday August 8th 1877. Mother and Hatt spent the day in the valley. I did the ironing and washed out a few calico things before dinner. In the afternoon I got Mothers dress that I am going to make over ready to work at. I wrote a note to Kate Boyer today. Thursday August 9th 1877. I worked all the morning on Mothers waist and over-skirt. In the afternoon Hatt and I took our work and went down to Robinsons. When we came back we found May Billingsley here with her Aunt and a young lady. I had a letter from Bentley today. Friday August 10th 1877. We finished Mothers over-skirt and waist this forenoon and all hands worked at the carpet rags in the afternoon. We girls went to the barn just before supper and got them all fixed up ready to go to the weaver. And I put up a lot of paper rags ready to send away.
