221. Saturday August 11th 1877. We girls made the dining room carpet today. And in the evening I did some mending. Mother went to town just before supper. I was very tired tonight. Sunday August 12th 1877. It was raining this morning and I read till after dinner. Then I changed my dress and wrote a letter to the Rhodenhauser girls. We had no company at all today and we girls took a walk down to the bridge after supper. All went to bed early. Monday August 13th 1877. We got a very early start at the work this morning and did our washing and washed a carpet before noon. In the afternoon Hatt and I called at Mrs Wilde's I drew of another pair of pillow cases today. Mother went to town in the afternoon. The boys were not haying any today. I rolled up the clothes after supper and went to bed early. Weather warm.
