Saving...
234 Monday September 17th 1877. The first thing after breakfast Rob and I began to clean Mothers room. We had most of the things back in by noon. In the afternoon we finished and got the parlor carpet down and the furniture unpacked it had kept well. I was too tired to do any thing at night went to bed early. Weather cool. I had a letter from Mr Hersey tonight. Tuesday September 18th 1877. We girls went to work the first thing after breakfast to paper the dining room, and had it all done the wood-work washed a curtain up and with Robs help the carpet down in time to eat dinner there. In the afternoon Mother and I moved the dish cup-board and I cleaned and varnishd it. I then cleaned the hall closet and put a carpet down in it. Hatt was busy working on her a new polinaise in the afternoon. I changed my dress before supper and went out to Fletchers for yeast. I had a letter from Miss Lewis today. Pottle came tonight.
