Saving...
241. Saturday October 6th 1877. I did not do any house-work at all today. I finished Hatts brown suit and made me a skirt for my black calico polinaise. It was very late before I went to bed. Weather pleasanter. Sunday October 7th 1877. I was busy about the house-work nearly all day. I wrote to Lou before supper. It was a rainy day. The boys did not go to church tonight and we all had a big time in the sitting room. Monday October 8th 1877. I got the washing done by eleven oclock and then went to town before dinner and got Hattie a wrapper and polinaise and stuff to make cuffs for both of us. Aunt Mellissa was here for dinner and her and father went to Aunty Walkes to stay all night. I worked on the things I brought from town. Tuesday October 9th 1877. It was raining again today. I was right at home all day. I sewed till late bed-time I got Hatts polinaise done and nearly finished her wrapper. I am awful tired tonight.
