Monday May 28-1934 I cut out a lot of tea towels from old muslim in AM. Went home with Celt after early dinner I sewed on the machine all aftermorn Mary [&]? William brought me home after supper. I found Mrs Gay suffering with her lame knee Mrs Welsh here to do the work. I wrote Alberta letter from Ida Tuesday May 29- 1934 I was up early to do my work. Went up town with Mary at nine oclock I got 25.00 from The bank bough a present for Mary E McCallister I did not do much a very hot day. Mrs Gay some letters. Mrs Welsh here all day After supper I rode to The cemetery with Celt [&]? Mart Then wrote Ida Robs birthday Wednesday May 30- 1934 I got my work done and waited for Rob to come to take me up there I put the covers on the porch cushions for Hattie. Did not come home till nine oclock. [Decortrin]? Day Thursday May 31- 1934 I was home all day. very warm. I sewed a little did some crotchet work. Was down with Mrs gay some Friday June 1st- 1934 I was home all day. very hot. Down with Mrs Gay. Did some crotchet work and read. The thermometer over 100. Saturday June 2- 1934 I did some cleaning and changed the furniture in front room. Tom [Hysham]? of Red [Cloh]? called Down stairs with Mrs Gay. Late in PM William took me down to McCallisters and up town. Mrs Welsh here helping Mrs Gay. very hot.
