Thursday July 12- 1934 Such a wonderful rain last night. Mary took me up town early to do errands. I did some things about the house and rested in PM. wrote Nellie Boswell very warm Friday July 13- 1934 I was busy with work about the house in forenoon rested in PM. The girls got here about 5 oclock. After supper went up to Hatties was surprised to find her not well From there we went to celts. Hurried home to avoid a storm A message to Ella Sanley tells of Kate's death the 9- of July Saturday July 14- 1934 The girls made calls in the forenoon. We rested some after dinner. then dressed to go to the wedding of [Margonvelle]? Stevens and Dr Gardnor at The ME Church On up to Whitstones for supper and the evening. Hattie better Sunday July 15-1934 We went over to Spencers for breakfast and were there till time to go to church we had dinner at The Union came home to rest awhile went to George Stevens for a call. Back to Celts for supper and on home The girls then went to Stevens to stay all night There was a terrible storm early in the night. Monday July 16- 1934 Still raining The girls could not get back so we could start to Delaron I wrote M E Culberson Winnie [&]? Ida. They got back in time to go to Will Andersons for supper. I did my packing and soon after they got home we went to bed.
