Friday November 6- 1931 I was busy all AM doing cleaning. Ott here for dinner. We had a talk and find we have lost a lot of money Met Hattie up town she took me to a picture show. She stopped here till Rob came for her. Saturday November 7- 1931 Cora came and took me up there for the day Such a good visit with Hattie. We went up to North Liberty for [sausage] before they left me here at home. I did not feel very well have that pain in lung. Sunday November 8- 1931 Ott took me to church. Dinner here. Later Rob took me a ride out past The Hedges place where Will & I lived. After that Ott came and we went to the cemetery. I went home with him till bedtime William brought me home Monday November 9- 1931 I got some things ready for the laundry man. I rested in afternoon and read in evening fine day. Tuesday November 10- 1931 I did up the work and wrote Mrs Falk a long letter William took me up town in the afternoon. Ott Mr Van Horne & Mr Walker drove to Desmoines today a letter from Ida. I read all evening. Very warm Wednesday November 11- 1931 I read to finish a book in the AM. Hattie here for dinner and spend the PM It began to rain hard in the evening. Letter from Alberta. Wrote her in evening
