Friday January 29- 1932. I was reading part of the day. had letter from Mrs Doyle. Jennie Sterritt here in PM. Rob here for quite a call in evening. Hattie telephoned Birdie There has been a change in the weather. Saturday January 30- 1932 Very cold today. I had more pain than yesterday I read some. Mrs Baker here in PM for a call Hattie up town of an errand Cora here just a few minutes William & Mary for their usual call. Hattie had letter from Edith Whetstone to say Ardelle Blackburn died Thursday PM. Sunday January 31st 1932. A very cold day. Hattie went to church with Ott I read the papers. I was lying down part of the day William Mary & Buddy here in PM. Rob here a couple of times. Mrs Gay up too. Hattie busy with some writing. Monday February 1st 1932. I have felt better today. Hattie went to Shakesphere luncheon. I got my dinner. I wrote Mrs Falk in AM. Did mending and read in PM. Ott came late and brought me money from Mrs Bichett on interest and list of bonds sent in $155.00. Hattie away in evening letter from Laura. Tuesday February 2- 1932 I had a fairly good day I wrote LeGrand in AM Mrs Gay was up several times. [Netie?] Mercer in the afternoon Dr Ned Smith in evening. Hattie went with him to call on Mrs Webb. Letter from Sue King I felt some pain at bed-time.
