Monday January 21 1929 Weather warm enough that it thawed some today. I washed out some curtains and gave the rooms a good cleaning. Hattie here in afternoon. I read some in evening. Letter from Edith Whetstone. Wrote to Lydia. Tuesday January 22 1929 I ironed curtains and put them up in forenoon. Had letter from Winnie and Ben Pittsford with invitation to Delavan Chicago Dinner. I washed more curtains in afternoon. It rained most of the day and turned cold at night. The paper tonight tells Edna Fletcher died at Boise the 15. Wrote W.S. Mc in evening and read in book. Wednesday January 23 1929 I finished ironing curtains and put them up before dinner. I had another letter from Winnie she will go to the Chicago Delavan Dinner with me. I sent money for tickets to Mr. Pittsford and wrote Winnie & Emma Herriott. Read & sewed some. In evening wrote L.D.L. & Mattie Fletcher. Thursday January 24, 1929 I did some sewing in AM and went up town at one oclock. Was at the dentists the bank Ott office and Miss Kleins to have my hair fixed. I did some packing after supper. Talked to Mattie and others on the phone. Wrote to Lydia. Had a letter from Birdie Hatton. It snowed late in the afternoon. I packed up some of the things I will need for a few days in Chicago.
