Wednesday September 18th 1929 I was up town till nearly noon. I packed my suitcase and Mary took me to the depot to get my ticket and check it. I finished other packing later. Took a nap. Rob came to take me home with him at 5 o'clock. Hattie came back to stay with me till train time. She & Rob took me to the 12:05 train. Thursday September 19th 1929 Was on time at Omaha. Soon get on Union Pacific train for Boise. I read and rested. The day did not seem long. Wrote Lou Simpson, Hattie & Lydia. Friday September 20th 1929 A pleasant days travel. Read part of the time. Reached Boise at 6:10 and took taxi for Fletchers. A pleasant evening. Letters from Kate Rowe & M E Culbertson. Saturday September 21st 1929 Visited in AM. Wrote some letters. A Mrs Winnslip took us to ride in the afternoon. I called at The hospital to see Minnie Torns of Delavan. Sunday September 22nd 1929 Was at Fletcher all forenoon. Miss Davis called. Later Ralph Black and his Mother come for me. We had a fine ride and I was with them till ten oclock. The daughter and husband brought me home. The weather has been delightful and I have enjoyed my visit here so much.
