Saturday April 19th 1930 I gave the rooms a going over in AM. Letter from Winnie & The Brown girls of Piketon. Wrote Laura after dinner. Went up town after dinner. Ott here for supper and to spend the evening. Sunday April 20th 1930 A rainy day. Ott took me to church. I wrote Winnie, Mattie Fletcher and Lois Simpson. Hattie came we went to call on Mrs Webb. After supper Mrs Gay took us to The Presbyterian church. Hattie on home. Monday April 21st 1930 I went up town to look for a single bed. I got some stuff for sheets. I sewed all afternoon. A letter from Ida says she will come. Wrote to her. Tuesday April 22nd 1930 I did some washing in AM. After dinner changed feathers into a pillow. Vacuumed all the rooms and did other cleaning. Read in evening. Wednesday April 23rd 1930 I was up town part of the forenoon doing errands. Letters from Ann Henslee. Wrote Mattie Stitt in PM. Mrs Searles & Herbert here for supper. She gave me a check for $85.00. Thursday April 24th 1930 Went up town. Bought bed-spread and bed & springs that were brought down in PM. Mrs Gay helped me change furniture in AM. Another letter from Ann Henslee. Wrote to her. Busy about the rooms all afternoon.
