Saving...
Sunday July 27th 1930 Still hot. I felt able to put the house in order and wrote Sister Ida & Lois Simpson. I slept some after dinner. Mary came for me at 4.30. We took a ride after supper. Ila brought me home. We went up to Whetstones awhile. The heat is unbearable. Monday July 28th 1930 A slight rain made it a bit cooler. I did a little washing and slept some both before and after dinner. Rob took me home with him at supper time. Hattie & I alone on the porch after supper. She and Cora brought me home at 9.30. Tuesday July 29th 1930 Quite cool. I did ironing, wrote LeGrand and did up a book to send him. Mary took me to Dr Urban. She came for me. I went home with her till 5 oclock. Read on the porch. Went to bed early. Wednesday July 30th 1930 I slept well last night. Hattie here a moment with rags to finish her rug. I did some pressing. A letter from Laura tells Lydia is very low. I wrote her. I did some telephoning. William took me over there for the evening. Hattie & Cora there too. Thursday July 31st 1930 Wrote Alice Condon & Cousin Jen. I spent the day at Hatties with The Shultz family. Such a good time. Rob brought me home. Stopped to see about teeth. The Byingtons took me over there for the evening. No mail.
