Saving...
Friday January 28th 1927 It was a dark day, raining a very little. Winnie and I went out to Austin to visit her friend. I had a letter from Hattie Lydia and wrote she and Fannie. The evening spent reading and knitting on bead bag. Saturday January 29th 1927 It was a foggy dark day. I went down town. Did an errand and got lunch. I then went out to Woolfs by [Bul?] Had a nice visit and came back the same way. In the evening wrote to Lydia and Birdie Harris. Sunday January 30th 1927 Winnie did not feel well. I was up first. She got up before noon. Soon after dinner I went out to McCalls to see Warner before I go away. We expected to go to the city in the evening with Levegoods. It was so late when they came. They spent the evening here. Weather pleasant. A special delivery letter from Fannie. Monday January 31st 1927 I did some washing for myself. After early dinner we went out to George Bremners by street car. It was a long way. But a pleasant ride. We had a nice visit. A letter from Hattie. Wrote Fannie in the evening. Tuesday February 1st 1927 We left at 11:30 for 63rd St. to go to a picture show. Emma Davis had wanted me to see "Adventures in Alaska" It was fine. We were too early. So it made a long afternoon. I had a letter from Ida in the A.M. and the afternoon mail one from Hattie and L.D.L. We were very tired and went to bed early.
