Wednesday April 6th 1927 A beautiful day. Lena did the washing. I wrote Cousin Jen. Another letter from Hattie tells Noomia Miller reached home safely with her sister that has been with them for six weeks. Ott & Fannie got home from Chicago Monday night. I read in evening. Thursday April 7th 1927 I read some in the AM. Soon after dinner went by taxi to Lizzie Duncan. letter from Winnie. I did not get home till early bed-time. Charles Duncan brought me. Friday April 8th 1927 I went over to Harty McKinstrys by taxi before noon. She had a lot of company. Twelve of us at table a very nice time. It rained so Mr Albers came for me when he brought Edith from school. Laura Lena and I went to High School play in evening. Saturday April 9th 1927 weather better. Edith with man to help did things in the yard. I wrote Winnie & Warner McCall. I slept in afternoon and read in the evening. Sunday April 10th 1927 I walked to church this morning. Edith and Lena went. The afternoon very quietly spent here at home. I wrote Alice Condon and read some. It was a yer today since Warner McCall met with the accident that kept him in Los Angeles for six months. The Fosters here in the evening.
