Wednesday September 26th 1928 Wrote Mary Lake at Eagle City Okla. Took mail to PO and went up town. Bought tea kettle and bread box. I had the big trunk brought down from Whetstones. I put in the evening looking over pictures and letters. Thursday September 27th 1928 I made pickles and busy about the house. Sewed and wrote Mattie Stitt in PM. Hattie here for supper and we went to Prayer meeting with Andersons. Friday September 28th 1928 I wrote Winnie and Warner and took the letters to PO. Later I went up to Hatties by street car. They brought me home. Fannie & Buddy here part of afternoon. After supper went to sub-station to mail picture and stopped at picture show. Read a book after I got home. Saturday September 29th 1928 I did some things about the house and wrote Lydia and Alice Condon. A letter from L D L. Card from Lydia. Went to Elder Daughters meeting at Mrs Kelleys. I paid both my dues and Hatties and Mattie Fletchers. I came over to Carrie Andersons where she and Ada McCallister were having a reception. Nice time. Floyd & Mollie brought me home. Went up town. I stopped to call at Harter Apts. After I got home a message said there was a letter from me at The Store. Went after that. It was from Alice Condon telling of the death of Mc-- & Annas daughter Ruth.
