It warmed up late in the day, looked like rain. Sunday September 12th 1926 I went to S S in a taxi. Mr Wood had brought the other girls over and I rode back with them. After dinner I answered Cousin Jens letter I got yesterday and wrote to Birdie. I then slept awhile. It turned much cooler by evening. Monday September 13th 1926 It was a cloudy day. I put in a full days work on the rug. The girls back to school again. I see in Iowa City paper that Aunt Melindas old home in the valley burned. Wrote Rob in evening.
