Monday, January 2, 1865. Began the New Year by opening the D.K - at the Washington Hospital. Miss Mary Burnell is with me as a most devoted earnest laborer I find her. She never allows an opportunity of saying a word for that Master to pass unimproved. We begin actively tomorrow, & move in "bag & baggage
