Tuesday, February 21, 1865. Left Memphis soon after day light this A.M. Busy most of the day reading Abbotts French Revolution. Too disagreeable to be on the guards, and we are glad to have any thing to employ the time pleasantly Miss Edwards & Mrs Burney are both good christian women Tonight we had a plasant season of prayer in our stateroom. Only two other women on board.
