Saturday, February 25, 1865. Today though a beautiful day we felt desolate enough having to stay on the steamer & no prospect of reaching LR till the middle of next week. But Providence favored us, and late in the P.M. the Rebecca came alongside and took us on board. We are now under way & have a prospect of reaching our destination some time. Mrs B- far from well.
