Sunday, April 23, 1865. Tended Dr Nadals church with Messrs "W & S" Miss Murdock Miss F & Cooley. Quite a discussion on the way in which the Sabbath ought to be spent. Reading in my Bible most of the P.M. Night went to church - all our party going. Sermon by a brother in law of Genl' Grant. A day of more religious feeling than last Sabbath. Hope ere long to feel that fulness of love that I once did.
