FRIDAY, MAY 18, 1865. Spent delightfully! After several hours talk with Mrs W went to the Office of the U.S. Cha.Com. Met sveral of the members of the Com'. With Mrs W visited several Bookstores & made some purchases. Read some in Aurora Leigh. Enjoyed the noon season of prayers Evening spent talking with Mrs W- and reading "Kitty [Tenly as] Drury".
