TUESDAY, JUNE 6, 1865. Came from 10th St feeling miserably. Threw myself on the bed, but Laura soon called me to see two ladies in the parlor Libbie & Manda!!! I nearly screamed with delight. Then we had a long, long talk, but the girls were tired and had to sleep a few hours Then we had a full account of their labors, & our talk went far into the night. But the girls let us have a room to ourselves & all were well
