Tuesday, June 20, 1865. Went to Alexandria and made the necessary arrangements for the change Read Faust coming & going. Raining when I got home. Tired and went to bed and slept an hour greatly to my refreshing. Mrs McQ Misses Marshall and Miss H_ compose our circle, and a very pleasant one it is! But how soon it will end! The thought of home is delightful.
