Wednesday, July 12, 1865. Tho' we were up till after mid-night not very dull today. Took till nearly noon to get the house in order Wrote one letter Mr W- came, and we sewed and talked with him. P.M. passed very pleasantly. Eve' filled with happy thoughts. Wrote some but spent most of the time having a good talk with Mrs W- and Miss F- This is too good to last, am sure of going soon.
