Tuesday, July 25, 1865. Had a sick night and made two or three attempts before I could rise. Almost cured by getting three good letters one from Mattie, one from W-s, & one from Dr B-. Answered Mattie Laura & Carrie spent the the P.M. and Mr & Mrs Williams the evening. Maggie B- called a few moments. How much like the days of yore.
