Wednesday, July 26, 1865. Atlantic from W- & paper with notes by M.J.F. Did some sewing for Jennie and myself. P.M. Mr & Mrs Williams & Mrs Fuller spent with us. Though rainy went with Mother to prayer meeting. Very good. Wrote letters to loved ones till nearly midnight while Jennie read. Have done no reading today, but improved the time sewing.
