Saving...
Monday, August 14, 1865. Up early and soon had the washing out. One letter from Father. After dinner met the Committees and made some arrangements for our Festival. M.B. came home with me. While at tea Mr L- called after quite a pleasant talk he kindly accompanied me to the opening of the Musical Institute. Singing very fine, but not finer than the bright faces on the platform.
