Tuesday, August 15, 1865. Did some of the ironing and then went shopping with Ma'. Came home & found long letters from Mattie & Bro Joe', Mrs R- Father & Mr Mclntyre. The last is surely in answer to prayer Six persons to dinner besides our family and work not done till four; then to the College. Called on Mollie Kibben, and had such a good talk. Eve' went to M- Bro Joe & Libbie. Wretchedly tired!
