Tuesday, August 22, 1865. A very busy day. A M - ironing, & helped some about twisting the carpet yarn. Mrs Fuller called & stayed quite a while. Went with Mother to the dentists & remained while she had all her teeth extracted. Eve' spent writing to Father. Cool weather, but very pleasant. Letter from Ed' B-. also one from good Ellen M- containing a token.
