Monday, September 11, 1865. Up early & soon had the washing out, but at rather a fearful cost to me, for I find myself suffering much as the result. P.M.helped Ma- can tomatoes & when we were done had to go to bed. Up in time to read my chapters. The college affair settled to suit me. God knows.best & I am grateful. Clouds scattering some, and on the whole evening passed pleasantly.
