Saturday, September 23,1865. Helped Jennie with the work & then made my wrapper. Surprised by a call from Mr S- Not very entertaining. Sewinng all the P.M And thus has passed another birthday. I now enter my 25th yr and none of those eventful affairs have marked my life that girls usually know in twenty four years. Letter from Mrs W- th[at] she cant come. Too bad O for faith & courage for the new year.
