Tuesday, September 26, 1865. All most all the A.M with Ma doing the shopping. Ironed after dinner. Had a pleasant discussion with Bro L- on the "womans sphere" question. Attended the Reunion at the church. Kindly and [?]ly greeted by Bros Hare, Winans, Shaw, Vernon &c. "Beau Brummel" walked part of the way home with me. Mr S- with Manda to my grat amusement. Pa coming home!
