Friday, September 29, 1865. Crowded with company & we girls do the work so Mother can attend all the sessions of Conf'. At home all day & very busy. Quiet little talk with Bro L-. Went to evening meeting and so missed seeing Dr Beardsley. He was not anxious to see us or he could have waited longer. Most beautiful moonlight nights Hardly a moment this week for Bible reading or prayer
